Virat Kohli a right handed top ordered batsman of team India.he is regarded as one of the best batsman in the world. currently he is the caption of Indian cricket team in all formats and in Indian Premier League(IPL) he play for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and has been team caption since 2013. Currently he reside in the Omkar 1973 Towers located in the Worli area in South Mumbai.


How Virat Kohli Became Cricketer?

Virat Kohli was born on 5nov 1988 in Delhi. he was from a punjabi family. his father Prem Kohli was a criminal lawyer and his mother is a house wife. Virat has one brother and one sister and he is youngest in all three of them. according to his mother Virat like's cricket when he was 3

year old. he picked up a cricket bat and ask his father to bowl on him. Virat was raised in Uttam Nagar,Delhi and started his schooling in Vishal Bharti Public School. As he grew up the intrest of virat for the cricket increased as per the passage of time.after saw him play neighbours always suggest virat's father to make him join any professional cricket club after the suggestions of neighbours at the age of 9 in 1998 virat's father took him to the West Delhi Cricket Academy. Virat Kohli was trained under the Rajkumat Sharma in the academy. he also played matches at the Sumeet Dogra Academy at Vasundhara Enclave at the same time. Virat was very dedicated and passionate about cricket remembering the old day's his coach Rajkumar Sharma say's that "He was natural at whatever he did and ready to bat at nay spot. I had to literally push him home after the training. he just wouldn't leave".

In the 9th grade Virat was shifted in the Savior Convent school because of collaboration of academy with the school. apart from cricket he was also a bright student during his school day's. Virat kohli played professional cricket for the first time in 2002 in Delhi under 15 team for Polly Umriger Trophy. he was the leading scorer in the tournament with a score 172 with an average of 34-40 runs because of his performance he became the caption of team for Polly Umriger Trophy of 2003-2004 at the end of 2004 he was selected in Delhi under 17 team for the 2003-4 Vijay Merchant Trophy. Delhi under 17 team won the Vijay Merchant Trophy in which Virat Kohli was the highest run scorer with 757 runs in 7 matches. In July 2006 Virat Kohli was selected in U19 team and was a part of the squad on the tour of England. The Indian under-19 coach Lalchand Rajput was impressed by the performance of virat. In the three matches of ODI series against England under19 his average score was 105 runs and 49 in the three test series.India under19 team won both the series. Virat Kohli made is first-class debut for Delhi against Tamil Nadu in 2006 at the age of 18.

Virat's father Preem Kohli use to do online share trading which was a big thing in 2006. after some time suddenly his share trading account trashed and one of the transaction went very bad. at that time the financial condition of the family was also to not good. business of Virat's brother was also not doing very well and the house in which they live was on rent because of the condition of the family Virat's father was in so much pressure which created an adverse effect on him and he had a brain stroke a clot formed in his brain and he was admitted in the hospital because of the stroke he lost total sense he was not able to react in a normal manner during this Virat was practicing for his test series and when he went to hospital he saw his father that his father lost all his senses and was not able to react in a normal manner. because of the condition of the father virat become unexplainable.

Then after the operation family went preem kohli back to the home but he was in rehab. left side of his body get paralyzed and also lost his left side vision and was not able to communicate as well and after a couple of weeks of rehab he get cardiac arrest and died at 2:30 in the morning because of this virat was totally broken down. virat was very close to his father. His father always's support him for cricket. virat get really upset and was not able to express all of this.during this time virat was playing a four day match series and next he had a match with karnakata. he took a brave decision and decided to play and scored 90 runs in the match . he went directly to the funeral after he was dismissed. After the death of his father Virat became more dedicated towards his goal because his father also wants that on day virat will play for the country. that day became the turning point of his life.

After the death of his Father Virat became more dedicated towards cricket he became more serious about his matches his effort towards the cricked increased. In april 2007 he made his Twenty20 debut in inter-state T20 championship and became the highes run scorer with 179 runs at an average of 35.80 runs and after that his game improves day by day and made many run in many matches in February -March 2008 kohli became the caption of the under19 team India in 2008 ICC Under19 cricket World Cup held in malaysia. during the tournament virat kohli win man of the match twice first for his century against West Indies and second he was instrumenented in India's three wickets semi final win over New Zealand in which he took 2/27 and scored 43 in the tense run-chase and was awarded man of the match. In the match against South Africa he scored 19 and India win the 2008 ICC Under19 World Cup by 12 runs.after the world cup kohli was bought by the Indian Premier League(IPL) franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for $30,000 on a youth contract.

In August 2008 kohli was included in the Indian ODI squad for tour of Sri Lanka and the Champions Trophy in Pakistan. he made hid first half century with a score of 54 in the fourth match in which India win the series. Virat Kohli score his first ODI century in the fourth ODI at Kolkata where he scored 107 of 111 balls sharing a 244 run partnership for the third wicket with Gambir who made 150 runs. The man of the match was awarded to Gambhir but he gave the award to Virat Kohli. and after that he made records and he was the part of the team of 2011 World Cup where he became the first Indian batsman to score century on World Cup debut. In the finals he scored 35 runs sharing an 83 run partnership with Gambhir and India win the World Cup finals by 6 wickets and lift the World Cup for the first time since 1983 and after that Virat Kohli made many records and still counting and also became one of the finest batsman of the world and currently he is the caption of team India in all three formats.
